We offer immediate and early specialist management of children and adults suffering with a wide range of medical conditions.

  • Our doctors have completed specific training while working in Accident and Emergency Care.
  • If you are medically unwell and need an urgent appointment, you will be seen on the day where possible. please contact our reception on 021-4632288. Please note we may not be able to offer you your choice of doctor on the day depending on their availability for such urgent care.

When should I go to the Accident and Emergency Department (A&E) ?

If you have an acute concern such as chest pain, acute shortness of breath, any symptoms of a stroke, it is advised you go directly to your nearest A & E or call an ambulance please call 999 or 112

Research and Quality Improvement in Urgent Care

At Midleton Medi Centre, we are constantly aiming to improve Accident and Emergency Care in Primary Care. To that end, we have published research in this area to aid other General Practitioners in their management of acute presentations.
