Palliative Care
Palliative care is: “an approach to care that improves the quality-of-life of patients and their families facing problems associated with life-threatening illness, through the prevention and relief of suffering by means of early identification and impeccable assessment and treatment of pain and other problems, physical, psychosocial and spiritual”
- Palliative care also provides additional supports to families to help them cope with their family member’s illness.
- Some of our Doctors have gained additional experience working in palliative care settings such as Marymount University Hospital and Hospice.
- Dr Hutch has completed further training in in Dementia Palliative Care
