  • We offer a range of vaccinations such as those in line with the Primary Childhood Immunisations Schedule but also certain vaccinations on request such as the Chicken Pox Vaccine otherwise known as the Varicella vaccine.

The Childhood Immunisation Schedule

  • Childhood vaccinations are safe, effective and help protect your child from disease and also help your child to fight disease.
  • Here is a helpful podcast explaining Childhood Immunisations via the HSE from a doctor and Parents perspective:

What vaccinations will my baby get?

The vaccines your baby will receive is dependent on the HSE Childhood Immunisation Schedule as outlined here.

The Childhood Immunisation Schedule is changing slightly. For children born on or after the 1st of October 2024, they will be offered the Varicella Vaccine at the age of 12 months. Effectively, the Varicella Vaccine will be free of charge for baby’s who are 12 months old from the 1st of October 2025.
